Tour Booking Process
From reserving your package to receiving your visa — the steps to book a Bhutan tour with World Tour Plan.
Non-Indian visitors require advance visa clearance; Indian nationals can obtain a visa on arrival with a valid passport (minimum six months' validity) or Voter Identity Card.
The booking process: 1) Reserve your tour package with World Tour Plan. 2) Secure flights through Drukair or Bhutan Airlines directly, or request our assistance. 3) Verify your passport has at least six months' remaining validity. 4) Submit documentation — a colour scan of your passport's information page and travel insurance documentation in English.
You should expect your visa 5 to 6 days prior to departure. Print it and present it at both airline check-in and immigration.
Only a digital passport scan is required; you keep your physical passport with you throughout. The visa itself arrives as an electronic document via email. If you've recently renewed your passport and your departure is more than two weeks away, contact us to update immigration records; for closer departure dates, bring both passports to immigration.
