Overview
The Druk Path Trek follows an ancient trading route connecting the Paro and Thimphu valleys, one of the most accessible and rewarding treks in Bhutan. Despite reaching elevations between 2,400m and 4,200m, the terrain is relatively easy, making it a great introduction to Himalayan trekking.
Along the way you'll pass through blue pine forests, rhododendron groves, and juniper-filled ridgelines, camping beside alpine lakes such as Jimilangtsho and Jimiling. On clear days, the trail offers 360-degree Himalayan views, including sightings of Mt. Gangkar Puensum, Bhutan's highest peak.
